Early in 2022, Pierre-Luc’s girlfriend, Elizabeth, was diagnosed with an
extremely rare form of ovarian cancer. She fought relentlessly for 7 months, but despite her courage and determination,
she lost her battle and died on July 25th at the age of 28. From this dark period emerged Ephemeral. Composed by Pierre-Luc in memory of Elizabeth, this song addresses the
grief, anger, pain, and resiliency we all have to face when we lose someone dear.
